​GET TO KNOW ME

Welcome to my site! I'm so excited to be a Dogwood Dolphin! I teach English Language Learners (ELLs) also known as English as a Second Language (ESL). In addition, I'm super excited to teach a few sections of Music at Dogwood! I also teach in the school's extra-curricular Spanish club. 

Fall 2018
​In ESL class, my students are working on becoming experts in reading, writing, comprehending, and speaking English. I'm so proud of these amazing, bilingual learners who speak a variety of languages! In Music class, we are also working on becoming bilingual! We're learning lots of bilingual English/Spanish songs! I am working on the logistics of offering an extra-curricular Spanish class later during the first semester. Details will be published and sent home when finalized, so stay tuned! :0)

My oldest daughter was a Dogwood Dolphin in Ms. Boyd's 5th grade class last year. Updated Houston Middle photo coming soon. :0)

My youngest daughter is a Dogwood Dolphin and was in Mrs. Yarbro's 2nd grade class last year. Updated 3rd grade photo coming soon! :0)
